Brittany Trang is a business of health care reporter at STAT. Previously, she was a 2022-2023 Sharon Begley Science Reporting Fellow. Before joining STAT Brittany has covered health and science at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as an American Association for the Advancement of Science Mass Media Fellow. Brittany has an undergraduate degree in chemistry and English from the Ohio State University and a chemistry Ph.D. from Northwestern University, where she developed PFAS remediation methods.
