Before that, she covered local breaking news for the Baltimore Sun and public health for Kaiser Health News. In 2020, she served as editor-in-chief of The Michigan Daily, her school’s independent newspaper. Lizzy lives in Washington, D.C., but is a New Yorker at heart.
