Jason Mast is a general assignment reporter at STAT focused on the science behind new medicines and the systems and people that decide whether that science ever reaches patients. He was previously a reporter at Endpoints News and, before that, spent a rather unsuccessful year as an English teacher in Israel. He’s currently in search of a large dog that will fit his tiny New York apartment.
