Novo Nordisk has such a blockbuster with Wegovy and Ozempic, its market cap has matched the GDP of its home country Denmark. It’s taking in so many dollars, it has affected the exchange rate of the Danish Krone to the Euro. The multinational pharmaceutical company with production facilities in nine countries employs 55,000 worldwide.

While most known for diabetes medications, Novo Nordisk also manufactures and markets pharmaceutical products related to hormone therapy, hemophilia and growth disorders.
